Jolene earned both her Bachelors degree in Sociology and a Masters of Social Work degree from the University of Iowa. She is a member of the Iowa and National Associations of Social Workers, and the Iowa and National Associations for Play Therapy. She has worked in both the public and private sector of mental health counseling for 30 plus years. She is in the general practice of clinical social work, treating individuals, couples, and families.
Over the course of her career, Jolene has worked with nonprofit agencies in positions serving children and parents in the foster care system, providing advocacy and therapy to survivors of sexual abuse and domestic violence, and was a residential counselor in a group home for teen moms.
In her private practice, she has helped individuals and families with mental health problems such as anxiety, depression, addiction, grief, and trauma. She has supported couples with marriage, divorce and custody issues. She has provided individuals with life skill training, career exploration, identity awareness and parenting skills. She has obtained extensive specialized training in providing play therapy with children and teens.
Hours of availability are 8:30 am - 5:00 pm Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday and 8:30 am - 7:00 pm Thursdays.
Susan completed her master’s degree in social work at the University of Iowa. She has over 25 years of clinical experience across a variety of settings including residential care, outpatient clinics, public health programs, inpatient psychiatric facilities, and structured outpatient programs. Susan has extensive training in play therapy and is a Registered Play Therapist -Supervisor (RPT-S). She is a member of the Association for the Treatment and Prevention of Sexual Abuse as well as the Association for Play Therapy.
Susan works with children, adolescents, and adults with a wide range of issues including but not limited to anxiety, depression, trauma and abuse, family and relationship issues, behavioral challenges, anger and stress management, adjustment problems, teen issues, and sexual acting out behavior and sexual aggression.
Hours of availability are 11 am to 8 pm Mondays, 9 am to 5 pm Tuesdays, 9 am to 5 pm Wednesdays, 9 am to 7 pm Thursdays, and 9 am to 1 Fridays.
Carlene received her MSW from the University of Iowa. In addition to being a LISW in Iowa and a LCSW in Illinois, she is also a Registered Play Therapist -Supervisor. She has worked in a variety of settings including community mental health, residential treatment, the foster care system, and domestic violence/sexual assault advocacy programs. She has extensive training and experience in working with children, adolescents and adults. Her areas of expertise with children include adoption issues, opposition and defiance and ADHD. Her areas of focus with adults include depression, anxiety, and trauma resolution. Her goal with all clients is to help them resolve symptoms that impact their mental health and to help them as they move toward living more authentic lives. Modalities she uses include play therapy, cognitive behavioral strategies and EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing).
Bob provides a holistic approach, honoring the connection between mind, body, and spirit, providing for both symptom relief and underlying resolution. He earned his Masters in Clinical Social Work in 1985 from the University of Iowa, where he was also trained in divorce mediation. He received advanced training in Internal Family Systems Therapy through the Center for Self Leadership, Oak Park, IL (a powerful model for resolving extreme behaviors, emotional distress, trauma, and relationship issues). Through 25 years of experience, Bob has developed a range of inter-related practice specialties.
His specialties include mind-body connection, mental health, relationships, achieving self-control (AKA anger management), divorce and child custody issues, and treatment around violence, abuse and trauma recovery.
Hours of availability include Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday, with evening appointments available on Monday and Thursday.
Dr. Lonning received her BA from the University of Iowa, Master's degree from South Dakota State University, her Doctor of Psychology degree from the University of Northern Colorado and her Postdoctoral Master's Degree in Clinical Psychopharmacology from Fairleigh Dickinson University in New Jersey. Dr. Lonning has been in practice in the Quad Cities since 1993 starting Psychology Health Group in 1997. Prior to 1993 she worked in Wichita KS at the Child Guidance Center and the University of Kansas School of Medicine. She has also taught courses through Western Illinois University in the Master's in Counseling program.
Her specialties include children, adolescents, couples, individuals, and families.
In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Lonning has been very active in her state and national psychological associations. She has held many positions on the Executive Council for the Iowa Psychological Association including the Presidential cycle, the state representative to the American Psychological Association Council of Representatives and most recently, is in the role of Director of Professional Affairs. In 2016, she was instrumental in getting legislation passed allowing advanced trained psychologists prescriptive authority in Iowa. Iowa is one of 9 states that have this as a part of psychologist's scope of practice. Dr. Lonning continues to work in the arena of RxP as part of APA's Division 55 Training Directors Council, was previously a member of the APA RxP Designation Committee, is chair of IPA's Pharmacology Committee and serves as the President of APA’s Division 55 the Society of Prescribing Psychology. She has been fortunate to have received awards for her work in these areas.

Dr. Marmion holds a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from Washington State University. Her graduate program provided specialized training in clinical child psychology in addition to treating adult clients. She completed a pre-doctoral internship at Hennepin County Medical Center in Minneapolis, where she continued to receive specialized training in child psychology. Dr. Marmion completed her post-doctoral training at a private group practice in Wisconsin, where she worked with child, adolescent, and adult clients.
Dr. Marmion works with children, adolescents, families, and adults. She also does personality, ADHD, and learning disabilities assessments.
Connie was born and raised in Davenport and left in 2000. Connie was able to travel a bit and decided to return for family in 2021. Connie earned a B.A. from St. Ambrose University and an M.S.Ed. from Western Illinois University.
Connie's early work was with populations involved with domestic violence, sexual assault, prepetration, adolescents adjusting to life after long-term residential placements, and substance abuse. Later work included female maximum-security inmates, sex offenders on community supervision and state incarcerated sex offenders, work in a public school on a reservation, which was K-12; work in an acute psychiatric hospital on another reservation and independent practice.
Connie's experience has a wide range as does the various populations that she has worked with. Connie works with children, adolescents, couples, and adults.

Rachel Pobanz, Psy.D. earned her masters and doctorate degrees from the Illinois School of Professional Psychology. She has degrees in Clinical Psychology as well as specific training and experience in forensics. Dr. Pobanz has worked in a variety of settings including corrections, community health centers, and others. She is trained in many types of therapy, assessment, and evaluation. Dr. Pobanz is credentialed with the National Register of Health Service Psychologists and is licensed in Iowa as a Psychologist and Health Service Provider. She is also a member of the Iowa Psychological Association.
Dr. Pobanz conducts psychological evaluations for diagnostic clarification and treatment recommendations for a variety of purposes including: Intellectual functioning (IQ, intellectual disability, or adaptive functioning), Executive functioning (impairment/problems with cognitive functioning), Personality disorders, Symptoms experienced (anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD, autism, psychosis, and other psychiatric symptoms), Symptom validity (malingering), Risk assessments, Behavioral issues (ODD/CD), Possible appropriateness for employment (pre-employment screenings), Bariatric surgery readiness evaluations, and other referrals, by approval.
Dr. Pobanz offers therapy and works with children, adolescents, and adults to provide therapy for a variety of presenting issues. Dr. Jessica Schultz is a licensed psychologist providing evidence-based therapy for adults navigating a range of problems, including depression, anxiety, trauma, relationship difficulties, grief and loss, stress management, and perinatal mental health concerns. Her clinical approach focuses on creating an empathetic space of genuine understanding to help clients heal, grow, and pursue meaning in their lives.
She earned her Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology from the University of Iowa and completed her clinical internship at the University of Texas. Alongside her clinical practice, Dr. Schultz serves as a Professor of Psychology at Augustana College and is a Fellow in the Interpersonal Psychotherapy Institute.
Beth earned her Master of Social Work from the University of Iowa and completed her undergraduate studies at Western Illinois University in Macomb, Illinois. In addition to her work as a clinical social worker, Beth has experience teaching special education for grades 1 through 8, supporting children with learning disabilities and behavioral disorders.
Beth is trained in trauma-informed care, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). She also incorporates a range of other evidence-based interventions to best meet each client’s individual needs. Believing in the importance of drawing on our own personal resources, Beth uses a holistic approach that integrates mindfulness-based practices to support emotional regulation and strengthen the mind-body connection.

Ted received his B.A. in Psychology from Northeastern Illinois University, and his M.S.Ed. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Western Illinois University. In addition to degrees, he is licensed in Iowa as an LMHC and in Illinois as an LCPC, nationally with the NBCC as a National Certified Counselor (NCC) and specialized as a Certified Clinical Mental Health Counselor (CCMHC). Ted also has certifications in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (C-DBT) and Integrative Sex Therapy (CSTIP). Ted has been in practice in the Quad Cities since 2020.
